Main duties

  • Clean carpets, rugs, upholstery, and assigned surfaces using approved cleaning methods.
  • Operate or assist with carpet-cleaning equipment, vacuums, extractors, and cleaning tools.
  • Prepare work areas, move light furniture where appropriate, and protect nearby surfaces.
  • Apply safe chemical-use, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Report damage, stains, hazards, or service issues to a supervisor.
